I paint distinctive and tactile artworks using a wide variety of media. A daily walk with my beloved dog, often on West Kirby beach, is the source of my inspiration. I feel privileged to have such beauty on my doorstep. I am compelled to render elements of this wonderous land, whether it’s the broad sweep of the Dee Estuary and Hilbre Islands, or a close up of magnificent sea grasses. Whatever the subject, it is my emotional response to such beauty that I am moved to portray.

I paint from my heart following my intuition (contrary to my artistic training) and often this allows for peak experience and connects me to Source. I find myself in the flow when I am surrounded by nature as well as while creating, and this is when my soul feels truly nourished.
